Talking about the situation of the village at the moment, the District Commissioner of Tanga Albert Msando said that there are many and big opportunities available there immediately after the increase of people moving to the village

"For now Msomera Village has a total number  of 15029 citizens after moving from the Ngorongoro Reserve where according to the 2022 census the number of citizens was 7600 but we have also received 29000 livestock that have moved and the total now the District has reached 11000 livestock and this is information that we have been receiving every citizen when they move’’.

This voluntary relocation project in the Msomera area is a project that has grown to be of great benefit to Msomera Village, Misima District, Sindeni Division and Handeni District as a whole.

"We have done various big projects there including Communication, Roads, Water, Electricity, Schools, Health Centers and Clinics and all of them have directly benefited the people of Msomera and outside as well".
